Yannick Bidois joins the Cozy crew!

Yannick discovered Cozy by chance; it seems crazy, but that’s how it is. He had been working for years in a big company, and he was tired of the atmosphere. He had just left Nissan, and he was thinking about running his own company. This is how he discovered the world of start-up and entrepreneurship: he had a project in mind, something between finance and human resources.

But his associate had to give up for personal reasons, and Yannick didn’t feel like going back to the corporate world. Right about that time, he happened to know that Benjamin was looking for his right-hand man, someone who would take care of administration, finance, and human resources. Oh, and they lived in the same neighborhood, so they met midway, in a little refreshment bar. They talked about Cozy and a bit later, Yannick met Tristan in a much warmer place: Opera Hôtel Diamond in the eighth arrondissement of Paris. And Yannick joined the Cozy crew.

The trial by fire happened on the spot: he participated to a three days forum at Orange Labs, where he had to promote Cozy. He was looking for dynamism: this is what we call dynamism. Yannick is our first non-technical guy, he studied business and management in Grenoble, and he was more familiar with running a company than running a software. He obtained a second Master in Sustainable Development which rejoined his interest for ecology and ethics. However Cozy is not focused on sustainable development, we greatly value durability, virtuous circle, respect and ethical approach. And this is something he likes at Cozy!

During his little free time (being Ben right-hand man can imply pretty long days), Yannick is a budding photographer, with a special taste for landscapes. He is also a fierce reader who likes Nietzsche as much as personal development theories, american thrillers and travel stories. Nevertheless, Yannick is no bookworm: he plans to run a marathon next year, and he works out to achieve this goal. (Now this is official: we shall leave him no relief). If you ask him, he will sum up in one sentence: “my main hobby ? Not using my computer after work.”

Yannick is an Unidentified Accounting Object, he is a big-hearted financier, always ready to forgive us when we’re late with paperwork. We hope he will stay with us for a long, long time!
